The conference “Finance and the Performance of Firms in Science, Education and Practice” creates the possibility for gathering and exchange of knowledge and experience of all those, who are actively engaged in this area: researchers, representatives of companies, banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions, public administration as well as PhD students. After successful conferences held in previous years, the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Tomas Bata University in Zlín has decided to organize already the seventh annual conference in order to again create a platform for professional discussions and dialogues of participants from different countries.
